I purchased this book about 3 weeks ago. It's a good read and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn the correct approach to ranking your websites. It covers the basics and builds a solid foundation to boost your rankings without all the geek speak.
Rob does a great job of simplifying SEO for website owners. In a very conversational style, both authors bring a bit of humor and a lot of nuts and blots training to a very complex topic. I would recommend this book to any website owner, SEO, or marketing manager. It makes a great gift as well to give to clients who aren't sure what needs to be done. This book is a great resource.
It's a lot to learn but the real deal as far as what needs to happen to make your site rank. Lots of fakers say they will take you to the top but Rob (I ended up just hiring him instead of trying to learn how to do it all myself) got me to the top of my category in ONE MORNING. If you can do it yourself, here's how. If you can't, at least you know who can help you make it to the top.
